Loyal to a fault, Ordon even believes the Skeksis' lies about his son and follows their orders to bring him in for the greater good. Ordon - Mark Strong ( Kingsman) At first blush, Ordon is simply a scarred and battle-born hardass who exists only to make his son Rian's life regimented and miserable. He does try to limit the princess's curiosity once she starts to delve into things he thinks are beyond her, it's a misguided attempt to protect her rather than simply silence her.

Librarian - Toby Jones ( Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) Though we lose track of the Librarian relatively early on-at least until he shows up at the end of the series to announce the Vapra Clan's late arrival-his early encouragement of Brea's inquisitiveness is key to getting the story started. But we're saving a few gems for the Top 3, and anything goes here since all creatures of Thra (and beyond) deserve a chance to shape the destiny of the Dark Crystal. The same goes for the Good Guys, including the Gelfling and their allies throughout the tale.

Hopefully there are more coming in the near future, but this should suffice for starters. So we've put together a character ranking that sums up just how useful (or deliciously deceitful) each of the characters was in these 10 episodes.

The blue in Jen’s hair is most definitely Stonewood features, which was a recessive gene in Kylan and then past down to Jen. You may not know this but Kylan’s father was actually Stonewood and his mother was Spriton. Now you may be thinking “why would it be Kylan he doesn’t show the same features as Jen.” Well, he might not show them but sure does have them. Now we know that his parent couldn’t have taught him to read because they were dead, but his love for reading could have definitely been passed down through Brea.
In the movie we see that Jen has been taught to read by his master, Ursu. And as we remember in the movie the way Jen and Kira got to know each other was through dreamfasting (which Jen has know clue what it was). Also, we see that Rian is always (mostly just trying to) dreamfast(ing). And unlike Jen, Kira didn’t think twice about hopping in a boat to go and save Thra. In the show he was always the bravest of the Gelfling. Now as everyone has seen in the show Deet and Rian both have a strong relationship between them. So that is a strong indicator to Kira as we know the she can speak to animals as well. We have seen that Deet has her way with animals even before she was gifted with the Sanctuary Tree’s power. I think we have all figured out that Jen and Kira’s parents would most likely be thee main characters in AoR. Of course there is the think with the comics, the power of the dark crystal, and how the fireling broke the shard again, but I will go through it sometime in the future. He then puts it Back in the crystal and the Skeksis and Uru’s become one again. Jen then visits aughra and finds the shard. She gives the shard to Aughra, who loses it among her many other Crystals.
After the battle of Stone-in-the-Wood, brea finds the shard among broken pieces of the dual glaive. Before being kicked out of the castle, SkekGra finds the shard and later forms a sword (the dual glaive) with his counterpart, UrGoh, with the power to end skeksis rule. Years later, Thra gives UrGoh and SkekGra a vision, and they are branded heretic. Aughra and Rayunip look for the shard for years but their efforts are only met with failure. The skeksis then break a shard from the crystal. Another thousand years later, one of the urskeks is corrupted with anger and the crystal rejects the whole lot. After 1000 years of thra’s birth some mysterious light beings callled UrSkeks arrive after the great conjunction. The crystal is a big crystal in the heart of thra.
